STEPHEN MINISTRY – HELP, HOPE & HEALING
“Therefore encourage one another and build up each other.”
– Thessalonians 5:11
Stephen Ministry is a new Grace Point ministry that offers a proven and effective way to provide high-quality, one-to-one, Christ-centered compassion care to people in our church family experiencing difficult times in their lives. A Stephen Minister comes along side you as a CARE giver, while inviting God into the caring relationship as the CURE Giver.
Our Grace Point Fellowship Stephen Ministry volunteers received over 50+ hours of specialized training to help assist you during this time.
Stephen Ministers come from all walks of life, but they all share a passion for bringing Christ’s love and care to people during a time of need.
Stephen Ministry was a vision of our beloved founder, Pastor Tom Sabens, and we are blessed to have it become part of his ongoing legacy at Grace Point Fellowship.
When Do You Need A Stephen Minister…
We all experience challenges in life – times when we could benefit from care and support. A Stephen Minister provides the emotional and spiritual care we need when faced with a crisis or difficulty such as: loss of a loved one, hospitalization, divorce or separation, spiritual crisis, loneliness or discouragement, job loss or crisis, terminal illness, family crisis, incarceration, aging, birth, adoption, miscarriage, or infertility, chronic illness, moving or relocation, recovery after an illness or accident, or other emotional or spiritual crisis.
